Malini Bracelets - 21st Century Vinaigrettes

Vinaigrettes were used by women in Victorian times as perfume holders. They were small perforated containers, lockets or brooches, often beautifully decorated. Inside would be a tiny compartment that held a piece of fabric or wood, which would be soaked in an aromatic substance such as a favourite scent, oil or smelling salts.

Together with sterling silver, semi precious gemstones, and blends of pure essential oils, they make up the unique combination of the Plain Clothes Angel 'Malini' bracelet. A wonderful mix of beauty and fragrance, to please the eye and uplift the senses. Malini comes from Sanskrit, the word for fragrant or garland maker.

The Plain Clothes Angel 'Malini' bracelets are made up of semi precious gemstones and sterling silver or silver plated beads, depending on your choice. Also used are facetted glass beads and crystal rondelles. Sterling silver filigree heart lockets are used as the vinaigrette. Placed in the heart is a small square of aroma pad, soaked with an essential oil blend of your choice.
